A LIVE-JAM SYSTEM BY REMOTEBB · THE VENUE IS OPEN

BBJAM
SUITE

A modular jam rig that lives in the browser. One clock, one key, any device — loop your voice, mangle it through 170 Kaoss programs, drop a DJ set the room follows, play a touch synth that can't hit a wrong note, drum on a hardware pad, grow melodies in a musical petri dish — then mix it on one desk and press record. And the whole room runs from one page: tap a scene, the stage wires itself.

THE IDEA

The room is the instrument.

Not an app. A venue. The hub keeps the session — clock, roster, routing — and every tool is gear you deploy onto whatever screens are lying around.

01 — TIME

ONE CLOCK RULES

The room has a pulse before anyone plays. Record a loop and your loop becomes the tempo — every device, delay, and beat-dot in the room snaps to it. The drummer is whoever's got the groove.

02 — SIGNAL

GESTURES, NOT AUDIO

Surfaces send touches, notes, and knobs across the bus — tiny messages, no streams. Sound is made wherever the engine lives, so the whole jam comes out of one rig, tight.

03 — SPACE

DEPLOY ANYTHING

Every device that walks in is a shell — scan the QR on MISSION CONTROL and you're on stage. Push KEYS onto that iPad, an XY pad onto that phone, the bridge onto the laptop with the MIDI keyboard — or tap a SCENE and the room wires itself. Rearrange the stage mid-song.

04 — MEMORY

THE JAM SURVIVES

The room shares one key — change it anywhere and every scale-aware surface follows. SCENES remember the whole stage — routing, tempo, key, who runs what — so tonight's setup is one tap tomorrow. And THE DESK's JAM TAPE records the master bus to a file, so the best take of your life stops evaporating on reload.

THE ROOM

Everything talks over one bus.

Live stage plot: dashed lines are gestures & clock riding the bus. Solid gear makes the sound.

Twenty seconds, on the grid.

THE RACK

Gear that shows up to play.

Every instrument stands alone — hit PLAY and it opens as its own page, zero setup. Run the hub and the same instruments become one band.

MISSION CONTROL THE ROOM ON ONE PAGE

The hub's front door: the pulse, the people, the live wiring map, a QR that puts a stranger on stage in five seconds, and one-tap SCENES that rewire the room and send tools out to idle screens. Any tool that advertises controls gets a ⚡ remote, generated live. The band's mixing desk for the room itself.

BBTRON-5K LOOPING DESKPLAY →

Sample-accurate 8-track live looper. Your first loop is free-form — the tempo follows you (tap first and it's trusted; ÷2/×2 re-reads any guess live). Slicing, scenes, risers, a landing gear for songs. The room's drummer.

BBKAOSS EFFECTS BRAINPLAY →

A KP3+ reborn: 27 hand-built DSP units, 170 programs, a typed mod-matrix. Runs standalone, follows the room's clock — or splices straight into BBTRON's master bus, one click.

THE DESK ONE MIX · JAM TAPE

Engines mount as decks in one mix — channel strips, meters, a master bus — and JAM TAPE records the room to a file. The best jam of your life finally survives it.

LAUNCHPAD REAL HARDWARE

A Novation Launchpad as the room's tactile surface — we wrote the USB driver ourselves. Five pages: looper control, a scale-lit keyboard, sample pads, slices, and a living petri dish, all with LED feedback on the beat.

BBDJ THE DECKSPLAY →

Two-to-four decks in the browser: honest tempo detection (tap is trusted, ÷2/×2 always one press away), sync, hotcues, one-knob filters, beat-synced FX, headphone cue — and LEAD makes the whole room follow your record.

BBTOUCHSYNTH THE PADPLAY →

Touch to play — a Kaossilator reborn: key-quantized XY pads, eleven hand-crafted voices, nine gate rhythms, chord-walking arps, built-in beats, up to four synths at once. A stranger plays a phrase in ten seconds.

BBSMPL THE SAMPLERPLAY →

64 one-shot slots + a slice deck, triggers quantized to the groove. Drop files on it — or press DEMO KIT and it synthesizes a drum kit from thin air. Plays from pads, keys, or the bus.

BBPETRI THE GARDENPLAY →

A petri dish that plays in key: Game of Life where births chime and deaths sigh, plus Ripples (phase music you tap) and Orbits (arpeggios in orbit). Gliders literally play melodic runs. Always in the room's key.

BBSYNTH BUS-NATIVE POLYSYNTHPLAY →

Plays from any keyboard in the room — hardware via the bridge, an iPad running KEYS, or your laptop's home row. Tempo-synced delay grooves with the session automatically.

KEYS + CONTROLLER SILENT SURFACES

Multitouch keyboards and Kaoss XY pads that make zero sound themselves — touches become notes at whatever engine you aim them at. Toss an iPad to a friend; they're in the band.

MIDI BRIDGE HARDWARE, ANYWHERE

Plug a keyboard into any device on the WiFi and route it to any tool by name. MIDI-learn binds remote knobs like they're local. The room is one big patchbay.

BBPATCH THE CANVAS

Every tool and device on one canvas — drag cables between them and gestures follow your routing. Filter a cable down to just the gestures you want (midi, control, one target). Cables flash as notes ride them. The whole room, patchable.

THE CREED
The room has a pulse before anyone plays.
Move gestures, not audio.
Arm on the bar. Fire on the downbeat.
Not-playing is a musical act.
Memory is a cue.
Anything you can imagine is a tool.
